There are so many things to love in this world. In this show local artists are invited to create artworks depicting the thing which makes them the happiest – their one TRUE love. This is a show of inspiring and sometimes surprising declarations of love.
Bougainvillea is an ornamental plant which loves light and warmth. A flowering machine, it blooms in a fiery explosion of colour and is hardy, tough and versatile. A closer look reveals that its heart-shaped leaves are paper thin and its scrambling branches are full of thorns.
Near Wild Blooms explore strength, vulnerability and true self- love, and reflect upon Briar’s past, present and future.
